Here’s hoping this weekend is sunny, because I really need to get my garden going!
This is from a couple weeks ago when I was on my way to my very first women’s collective meeting! It sounds political, but it’s not, its a creative women’s collective. So far its been mainly us getting together to talk about what we do and how we can stop working for the man!
But yes, it must be spring! There are buds on the trees, the ground is soft and warm, and the raccoons have fully moved into my backyard! I don’t know how I’m going to maintain the vegetable garden this year… I sense a battle coming on! As if I didn’t have enough to contend with and the slugs! Evil slugs! This year I shall try the oatmeal solution! (You sprinkle raw oatmeal around the soil and they gorge on it and then explode as it expands inside them!)
Oh spring! A new site! A new direction in design! A new office to play in! And a new garden waiting to be dug! It’s such a lovely time of year, so full of promise and hope!
